The BLT Steak concept may have originated in Manhattan, but the atmosphere of the Scottsdale location at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa integrates elements of a French bistro to give this steakhouse a stylish, yet cozy vibe. Chef Laurent Tourondel presents his adaptation of the American steakhouse with BLT Steak, making the menu upscale, but accessible, presented in a setting that is classy, yet comfortable. Try not to fill up on the scrumptious and deceptively airy gruyére popovers that precede the main course. BLT serves only the finest cuts of meat, USDA Certified Creekstone Farms Prime and premium Black Angus. Steaks are naturally aged, then broiled at 1,700 degrees and finished with herb butter. Choose from nine sauces — steak, barbeque, three mustards, béarnaise, Roquefort, peppercorn, horseradish, chimichurri, or ride wine — to accompany your cut of beef, cooked to perfection. In addition to the regular dinner menu, BLT Steak features weekly blackboard specials prepared with herbs from the onsite organic garden, highlighting regional flavors. A selection of seafood, including Dover sole, Maine lobster, prawns, sea bass, and tuna, is also available, with your choice of herb mayonnaise or soy-citrus sauce. Cap off your meal with a decadent soufflé, tart, mousse, or cheesecake for dessert. BLT Steak is open for dinner daily from 5 to 9 p.m.
